Author Celebration

This month we held a Second Grade Author Celebration. Students invited their families to school to give them a peek into how Writer's Workshop works in our classroom. They gave tours of the classroom, shared tools and supplies we use when we write, highlighted each of the steps in the writing process, and proudly displayed their writing from the prewriting stage to a published story. Below, some families are enjoying the event.
